Spring Burst
I was so distracted by this flash of colour I had to stop the car and take a look. Crocuses and daffodils planted closely together in massive groups seemed audacious against the fading winter background.
Oil on canvas 30 x 42.5cm. Part of gallery sale.
Frost melting
Winter morning - I took a walk through the crunchy frost before the sun melted it away and changed the landscapes colours.
Oil on canvas 60 x 42cm £300
Purple frost
Frost melting - walking home, the sun had melted most of the frost away but purple pockets remained resisting its heat.

Watching the storm
My son spontaneously jumped into the Welsh sea on a very non beach day. The sky darkened dramatically and we watched as it rolled with the waves towards us.
Oil paint on canvas 51 x 40.5cm
£200
CLOUDSCAPE
I loved painting this cloud ‘triptych’ capturing the ever changing sky and colours. The only challenge was how to photograph them together, so excuse the ‘propped on a bed’ look! Also which order should they go in?
Oil on canvas 51 x 40.5cm
Available individually (£200) or all together (£550)
last days of Autumn
This painting sold a while ago, but I recently delivered it, which seems good timing as we come to the end of a stunning autumn. Oil on canvas board 61 x 46cm
Maldon clouds
I can't stop looking at the ever-changing sky, especially the clouds. These ones are from a sunset in Maldon.
Oil paint on canvas 51 x 40.5cm £250
Stepping In
I'm finally painting again after the long summer break - seeking something different in style and failing to find it! Some say this dissatisfaction is the precursor to change. Here’s hoping!
Anyhoo here's an oil on canvas board of kids playing in the sea (30 x 40cm) For sale £200
Waterscapes?
I forgot to post these landscape commissions delivered over the summer, which I seem to be doing more of these days. Or should that be waterscapes?

Storm passing
I did a smaller version of this recently, so in anticipation of Thursday’s storm, had a go at a larger one! I think it captures the expansive space more as the changing clouds race across.
This sold before I had to chance to upload it, but I'm on a stormy clouds roll so there'll be more seascapes coming.
Oil on canvas 77 x 51cm
Denham Lake - my swimming haven
Over the last year this has become my place of escape...swimming in beautiful Denham Lake whatever the weather. This was on a good day!
Oil on canvas 46 x 35cm
More storminess
It seems crazy looking back, but I was so focussed on the sunlit boats, I didn't notice the approaching storm until I was in it.
Oil on canvas 59 x 41cm SOLD
Storm Brewing
I got caught in a storm on a walk in Maldon, Essex. I loved how the sky moved across from sunny to dark as though it were a moving picture. This was oil on canvas board, using 3 colours and a bit of white. For sale in my artwork section.

Hello Brave New World
I’m not going to to lie - these past months of homeschooling and barely picking up a paintbrush, along with a nice dose of Covid in half term for all the family, have been tough. But it’s made the last week with the kids back at school and myself happily planted in my studio all the more appreciated!
I’ve got behind with updates on portraits commissions for the end of 2020. - here’s one done for these 3 boys’ grandmother as a personal Christmas present. oil on canvas 50 x 40cm
